Paddy and Mick, a couple of rabbit hunters, were out in the woods when Mick fell to the ground.

Paddy ran to him and checked him out as best he could. Mick didn't seem to be breathing, and his eyes were rolled back in his head

Paddy whipped out his cell phone and called the emergency number.

He gasped to the operator, "My friend Mick is dead! We were out hunting and he just dropped dead! No reason at all! What can I do?"

The operator, in a calm soothing voice says, "Ok, just take it easy. I can help. But first, let's just take a moment and check him, and make sure he's actually dead.."

There was silence on the line as Paddy tended to his friend, and then a shot rang out.

Paddy got back on the phone and said, "OK, now what?"
